MAYS LANDING – Atlantic Cape Community College is excited to announce that Trustee Flora Castillo and Trustee Monica Kyle were reappointed to the College’s Board of Trustees by the Atlantic County Board of Commissioners on October 6 for respective second four–year terms ending November 1, 2030.

We are thrilled about the reappointment of Trustee Flora Castillo and Trustee Monica Kyle to the Atlantic Cape Board of Trustees,” said Atlantic Cape Board of Trustees Chairperson Daniel Money.
“Trustees Castillo and Kyle have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to student success, academic excellence, and community engagement. Their leadership is invaluable as we work alongside our newly–appointed 10th president, Dr. Jason Abreu, to advance the College's mission and serve the students of Atlantic and Cape May counties.”
Castillo (left) is president of Pivot Strategies, LLC, a strategic advisory firm that helps public transportation agencies, public-sector organizations, and private-sector companies address complex safety, security, operational and community challenges while accelerating business growth. With more than 30 years of executive leadership experience spanning public transportation, healthcare, and public policy, she is nationally recognized for delivering innovative, human-centered solutions that improve safety, strengthen operations and enhance the customer experience.
Kyle (below right) was appointed to the Board in May 2022. She has more than 20 years of public service experience and currently serves as the Registered Municipal Clerk for the Borough of Longport, NJ. In this capacity, Kyle is responsible for performing a wide range of state mandated duties and responsibilities, including serving as secretary to the governing body, custodian of records, election administration, registrar of voters, and secretary to the municipal corporation. She also has primary responsibility for the Borough’s social media content, and web updates and is the Registrar of Vital Statistics. Prior to joining the Borough, Kyle was a Communications Manager for the Atlantic County Utilities Authority.
