What is Concurrent Credit?

You can start earning college credits while you are still in high school by taking concurrent credit courses at Atlantic Cape. These college-level courses are taught by Atlantic Cape faculty and vary from semester to semester. Explore areas of study that interest you and earn credit toward your college degree.

Available Summer 2026 Courses

Atlantic Cape Community College is proud to offer two FREE grant-funded courses for college-bound students who have tested into developmental math or English Courses.

  • Math Boot Camp (MATH-074) is a FREE remote course offered this summer. Students who successfully pass this Boot Camp will move up one level in Math and will be eligible for college-level math for the Fall 2026 Semester. 
  • Reading/Writing II (ENGL-080) is a FREE remote course offered this summer. Students who successfully pass this course will be eligible for Composition I (ENGL-101) for the Fall 2020 semseter.

Become a Concurrent Enrollment Student

Step One to become a concurrent enrollment student

Apply for Admission

Create an account with Atlantic Cape to apply as an Early College student using “Choice #2 – Early College Application. If you have previously applied as an Early College student, you do not need to reapply.

Once your application is submitted, you will receive an acceptance letter within 24 hours and access to your Atlantic Cape Connect student portal. Make sure to check your Atlantic Cape Connect portal periodically for important announcements, updates and more.

Step Two to become a concurrent enrollment student

Determine Your Placement

After applying, submit your high school transcript and SAT/ACT scores. We will also accept a PSAT score with a recommendation from your high school guidance counselor. We will review your documentation and contact you if a placement test is required.

Step Three to become a concurrent enrollment student

Register for Class

Log in to Atlantic Cape Connect student portal and register for classes using the Self Service card. Select the courses you wish to earn college credit in and click Register. Pro tip: Atlantic Cape can pre-plan your courses for you to make registration a breeze! Send an email to highschool enrollment to get started.


Step Four to become a concurrent enrollment student

Make a Payment

Online concurrent courses are offered at a discounted rate of $123 per credit. Classes taught in-person at Atlantic Cape are $174 per credit, plus fees*. To reserve your spot in class you’ll need to make a payment through Atlantic Cape Connect or in-person at the One-Stop Welcome Center. We accept all major cards, E-Check and cash.
