Home schooled students who have received home schooled diplomas will be accepted for admission as all other high school diploma students.
Home schooled students who have not received a diploma but are eighteen years of age or have a GED will be admitted as all other applicants.
Home schooled students who are sixteen or seventeen years of age may be admitted with a parent or guardian's signature in place of the principal/high school guidance counselor, if permission from the local school district is not readily available. Applicants will be admitted as part-time students until they reach the age of 18 or receive a diploma or GED. Students are required to take the Placement Test before registering for classes.
Home schooled students who are at least fourteen years of age, but not yet sixteen, may be admitted as non-matriculated part-time students with special permission of the Director of Admissions and the signature of a parent or guardian, if permission from the local school district is not readily available. The Director will interview the applicant and make a recommendation to the Dean of Students regarding acceptance. Students are required to take the Placement Test before registering for classes.
