Nursing and Health Science Entrance Exam Information
Nursing and Radiologic Technology program applicants must take the ATI TEAS exam. The test is a general comprehensive tool which evaluates several areas including reading comprehension, mathematics, science and English/language usage. The exam must have been completed within the last three years. Applicants must receive a minimum score of 58.7 or higher for their application to be considered. Beginning on June 3, 2025, a passing score of 63.0 or higher on the TEAS exam will be required for application to the Registered Nursing (RN) and LPN to RN programs. The admission process for the Nursing and Radiologic Technology program is very competitive.
Policies for the ATI TEAS
- ATI TEAS is administered to Atlantic Cape students only.
- Students must have successfully completed two prerequisites required for the nursing program before registering for the ATI TEAS exam.
- Radiology students must complete successfully English 101, College Algebra, and Anatomy & Physiology I before registering for the ATI TEAS.
- Students may retest once at Atlantic Cape after a 30-day time period has lapsed.
- Students may also test with ATI or PSI (in-person) and have the results sent to us. One transcript is included with your registration.
- Each individual must purchase his or her own testing reservation.
You must register and pay online to take the ATI TEAS exam. The exam is administered remotely. The fee for testing is $112.

- If you are late, you will have to reschedule online and pay the fee again.
- Calculators, dictionaries and other aids are not allowed
- One piece of scratch paper is permitted.
- Cell phones must be turned off.
- All registrations are final. You will be responsible for repaying and rescheduling a new test if you are unable to attend your scheduled date.
