Getting Ready to Graduate?

Here's What You Need to Know

Graduation is closer than you think and we’re here to help you cross the finish line. Whether you’re earning a degree or certificate, this is your go-to spot for what it takes and how to make it official.

What You Need to Graduate

To earn your associate degree or certificate from Atlantic Cape, you’ll need to:

Complete the required number of credits for your program (check the college catalog for your specific program)
Have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA
Show you’ve got tech skills by passing either CISM125 or CISM132 with a C or better, or by testing out or submitting a portfolio

Heads up: If you transferred here, you need to complete at least 30 credits at Atlantic Cape.

Graduation Honors

You could be recognized with honors based on your Fall GPA:

3.0 or higher if you enrolled before Fall 1994
3.5 or higher if you enrolled Fall 1994 or later

Honors are awarded as follows:

3.5 to 3.74 = Honors
3.75 to 3.99 = High Honors
4.0 = Highest Honors

Only your Fall GPA is used to determine eligibility for an honors stole at Commencement. Spring grades are not included for the ceremony.
