Congratulations, Class of 2026!

Atlantic Cape’s 59th Annual Commencement Ceremony will be held on May 21, 2026, 10:30 a.m. at Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City.

Maybe your journey to get here was long and filled with unexpected barriers. You may have had to overcome obstacles, learning grace and courage along the way. In the process, we hope you learned to balance life and all that comes with it. Your hard work and dedication are awe-inspiring.

The faculty, staff and administrators here at Atlantic Cape have been proud to walk alongside you during your time here. And now, we're overjoyed to cheer you on as you move on to the next phase in your life. We're grateful you made Atlantic Cape a part of your journey. Every one of you has written a chapter in your lives that shows you can adjust, persevere, grow, and make a positive difference in your own lives and the lives of others. These strengths of character will motivate you onwards to your future successes that we know you will accomplish.

Graduate SpotlightsGraduates, we want to hear from you. Atlantic Cape is looking for students in the Class of 2026 to feature in our upcoming Graduate Spotlights. These stories of student success will be shared on social media, in print and marketing materials, on our website, and with news/media outlets.

Board of Trustee Representative

One member of the graduating class is eligible to serve a one-year membership on the college’s Board of Trustees.  This student will share the student's perspective as policies and decisions are made to guide the college.  The elected student will be seated in July 2026 and will serve until the following June 2027.  The representative must be available to attend monthly Board meetings in person if scheduled in that format.

The graduation ceremony included remarks from Atlantic Cape President Dr. Barbara Gaba, keynote speaker Jacquelyn A. Suárez, Student Government Association President and class farewell by 4.0 High Honors Student.

Commissioner, Department of Community Affairs (DCA)

Jacquelyn A. Suárez was appointed Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA) on September 18, 2023. She oversees a $2.152 billion budget and more than 1,000 employees, leading efforts to expand affordable housing, end veteran homelessness, and strengthen shared services and homeownership opportunities. A champion of data-driven decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and solution-focused governance, she has positioned DCA as a leader in using innovative tools and strategies to address policy challenges. A New Jersey native, Commissioner Suárez holds a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law in Camden and a B.A. from American University and is a member of the New Jersey and New York bar associations as well as the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey.

Celebrate your accomplishments and get ready for Commencement at Grad Fair 2026. This event brings together essential graduation information, Career Services resources, Alumni Association benefits, and transfer partnership opportunities — all in one convenient location.

Attendees will also have the chance to enter prize drawings for items such as diploma frames, cap and gown packages, gift baskets, and more.

  • Cap decorating station
  • Free professional headshots or graduation portraits (first-come, first-served)
  • Purchase or pick up commencement regalia
