MAYS LANDING — During this season of giving, the Atlantic Cape Community College family, along with our community partners and student organizations, is hosting numerous donation drives to help those in-need. Please consider donating today and supporting the families that encompass our surrounding communities, as well as our students who are experiencing food insecurity day-in and day-out.

Here is a list of current donation drives taking place at the College:

  • The Annual Toy Drive collaborates with local community organizations to bring joy to the youth of Atlantic City this holiday season. Atlantic Cape is currently accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys for children ages 2-12 through December 17. These gifts will be distributed to underserved families at the 6th AnnualHOPE for the Holidays event and tree lighting in Brown's Park on December 13. HOPE for the Holidays is a grassroots, collaborative effort meant to bring joy to over 600 local children this holiday season.

Donation boxes are located on the Mays Landing campus in the J-Building lobby, the Worthington Atlantic City campus in the main lobby on the first floor and the Cape May County campus also in the main lobby on the first floor. For more information or questions please contact Lizbeth Castro at (609) 343-4800 ext. 4731 or lcastro@atlanticcape.edu.

  • At the Atlantic Cape Food Pantry, we believe that food is a basic human right. The Food Pantry is collecting donated items, such as shelf-stable milk, cereal and oatmeal cups, fruit cups, cup-o-noodles, soup and tuna, food for the College’s three campus food pantries. Please consider donating non-perishable food items to help alleviate student food insecurity. Donation drop-off boxes are located on the Mays Landing campus in the cafeteria, Student Center (G-Building) lobby, A-building, and the Library.

You can help support our Food Pantry by giving a financial gift that will have an immediate and positive impact towards eliminating student food insecurity. All gifts will count towards our goal of reaching $25,000 for GivingTuesday on December 2. Please join this national movement of generosity and community support, so we may ensure that no student goes hungry.
