Registration for Atlantic Cape’s Summer Sessions is Now Open; Second Eight-Week Spring Session Starts March 24

MAYS LANDING — Summertime at Atlantic Cape Community College is the perfect opportunity to earn credits in as little as six weeks as you continue working towards earning your associate degree or simply want to transfer credits to your four-year college/university while enjoying the warm and lazy days at the beach or keeping cool indoors.

summer classes at Atlantic CapeRegistration for the Summer Session opened on Monday, March 3 for all returning students and Tuesday, March 4 for all other students. Atlantic Cape’s three campuses in Mays Landing, Atlantic City and Cape May County are offering four Summer Sessions this year: full, 14-week session from May 19-August 21; 6-week, first Summer Session from May 19-June 26; 8-week, second Summer Session from June 30-August 21 and a 6-week, third Summer Session from July 14-August 21.

If you are unable to make it to one of our campuses in-person to register, you may do so online at any time at atlanticcape.edu/register.

Other upcoming events at Atlantic Cape include:

One-Stop Enrollment Days Stop, Drop, Enroll public event will be held on Tuesday, March 4 from 3-6 p.m. at Atlantic Cape’s three campuses. New and returning students may get one-on-one assistance, take a campus tour, meet faculty and staff, learn about the programs and services that we offer and, of course, register for classes.

For those needing help applying for tuition assistance, Hands-On Financial Aid Workshops will be held on Wednesday, March 12 at 11:30 a.m. and Thursday, March 20, 3:30 p.m. on the Mays Landing campus in room G-215 (Student Center). A virtual workshop will be held on Thursday, March 27, 11:30 a.m. Assistance will also be available for both English and Spanish speaking students. Atlantic Cape students and alumni are invited to attend an upcoming Career Fair on Monday, March 31, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Cape May County campus; Tuesday, April 15, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Mays Landing campus and Wednesday, April 16, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Worthington Atlantic City campus. Atlantic Cape will be hosting three Open House events where current and prospective students may attend a campus tour, get help with your application, learn about financial aid and free/reduced tuition through the Community College Opportunity Grant, speak with College faculty/staff/fellow students/clubs, meet with four-year college partners/support services and enjoy free refreshments and giveaways. Open Houses will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 5-6:30 p.m. at the Worthington Atlantic City campus; Wednesday, April 9, 5-6:30 p.m. at the Cape May County campus and Tuesday, April 22, 5-6:30 p.m. at the Mays Landing campus. There is still time to register for Atlantic Cape’s second, 8-week Spring session, which begins on Monday, March 24 following the Spring Break recess. Register at any of our campus One-Stop Welcome Centers or do so online at atlanticcape.edu/register today.

Lastly, it’s not too early to start thinking about registering for the Fall semester. Registration for students with 30 or more credits starts Monday, April 7, for students with 15 or more credits Tuesday, April 8, for returning students Wednesday, April 9 and all students on Thursday, April 10.
