Information for High School Partners
Atlantic Cape's Early College programming provides multiple avenues of opportunity for high school students to earn college credit while simultaneously earning their high school diploma. These avenues include dual credit courses taught by high school teachers at Atlantic and Cape May county high schools, and concurrent credit courses taught by Atlantic Cape faculty online or at the high school.
Atlantic Cape has also established articulation agreements with local high schools which allow students who matriculate to Atlantic Cape to have specific courses taken during high school evaluated for college credit toward their Atlantic Cape degree. Associate pathways provide students with the opportunity to earn an Atlantic Cape associate degree while still in high school.
Dual Credit Course Approval Process
Following federal and state initiatives to provide pathways to help students transition from high school to college, Atlantic Cape Community College has streamlined its process for dual credit course approval. Please review the Dual Credit Course Approval Guidelines for more information on the dual credit course approval process, timeline for course approval, and the discipline specific qualifications required of the high school instructor assigned to dual credit courses.
