MAYS LANDING – Each year, the Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation’s Annual Scramble ‘FORE’ Scholarships Golf Tournament raises critical funds that go towards student scholarships. It’s time to save the date for this year’s event, which is scheduled for Friday, October 2 at Cape May National Golf Club.
Come on out and enjoy the day with friends and colleagues for a late-summer round of golf under the sun. Once again, this year’s tournament will commence at 10 a.m. with registration and check-in, followed by a scramble format beginning with a shotgun-start at 11:30 a.m. An awards dinner on the green just steps from the clubhouse will be held at 5 p.m. to conclude the day’s festivities.
Player fees, which include a complimentary gift, beverages, lunch and dinner, are $250 for an individual golfer or $800 per team of four. Golfers may participate in a variety of skill challenges, including closest-to-the-pin, chipping, putting, and longest drive. The event also includes merchandise and 50/50 cash raffles.
Individuals and businesses may also support the event through sponsorship and advertising opportunities ranging from $100 to $7,500. For more information, visit atlanticcape.edu/golf.
Last year’s golf tournament raised a record amount of $76,000 to support student scholarships at Atlantic Cape. It was the five consecutive year that a record amount was raised. Since the tournament’s debut in 2004, nearly $950,000 has been received thanks to the tremendous support of dedicated Atlantic and Cape May county businesses and residents.
Cape May National Club, located on Route 9 and Florence Avenue in Erma, NJ, is an 18-hole golf course nestled into the natural surroundings of Cape May County between the Garden State Parkway and Route 9.
