This Fall, Atlantic Cape is pleased to offer the prestigious Metallica Scholars Initiative program. Thanks to a generous $75,000 grant, this program will provide students in the College's Air Traffic Control and Professional Pilot degree programs with support as they navigate their path towards a rewarding, high-demand career in the Aviation industry.
In partnership with All Within My Hands, the non-profit, philanthropic organization created by the members and management of Metallica and the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC), this program is available to Atlantic Cape students pursuing one of two degree programs: Air Traffic Control Terminal (A.A.S.) program and Professional Pilot (A.S.) program.
Students enrolled in at least 6 credits for the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters may receive up to $500 scholarship, dedicated student support services and customized career development opportunities, as well as supplies/materials to help them succeed on this pathway.
Atlantic Cape’s Aviation program offers students a fast-track, two-year path to a dynamic career in aviation, whether as an air traffic controller or professional pilot. With expert instruction, hands-on training, and flexible scheduling — including some online coursework — students gain the technical knowledge and real-world skills needed to succeed in this fast-growing industry, all while benefiting from small classes and personalized support.
