Head Coach

Ricky White, Jr.

Biography:
Ricky White, Jr. is entering his first year as head coach of the Buccaneers women's basketball program in 2025-26 after serving as the assistant coach in 2024-25.

White, Jr. attended Atlantic Cape from 2006-08 and starred for the Buccaneers men's basketball program where he became the first Buc to score 1,000 career points. White, Jr. has been head coach of the Yale School for the past six years and Special Olympics for three, while also serving as an assistant coach with numerous AAU and recreational teams.

Assistant Coach

Lamar James

Biography:
Lamar James is entering his first season as an assistant coach with the Atlantic Cape Buccaneers women's basketball team in 2025-26. James has 11 years of basketball coaching experience with the Jersey Storm youth organization, and with Holy Spirit High School where he served as head coach for the boy's jv team and assistant coach for the boy's varsity team. Since 2022, James has served as an assistant coach at Atlantic City High School.

Rodney Scriven, Jr.

Biography:
Rodney Scriven, Jr. is entering his first season as an assistant coach with the Atlantic Cape Buccaneers women's baskertball team in 2025-26. Scriven, Jr. has more than nine years of coaching experience. He spent the past six years coaching at the Yale School and two years coaching in the Special Olympics. Scriven, Jr. has also worked with various organizations to train student-athletes and has coached multiple recreation teams.
