How long have you been an employee at Atlantic Cape?
Six years.
What is your fondest Atlantic Cape memory?
It is difficult to pick just one fond memory because I have had so many through the years, but one of my fondest memories is opening The Campus Closet to provide free professionals attire for students.
Tell us about your educational journey and what it has meant to you.
My educational journey began at Atlantic Cape in 2004 as a Hospitality Management major and starting college at 36 truly changed the course of my life. Returning as a non-traditional student taught me that growth has no age limit. The life experience I brought with me helped me stay focused, motivated and determined in ways I never expected. Balancing school, work and personal responsibilities was challenging, but it showed me just how capable I am. That experience strengthened my confidence and reinforced my belief that I can achieve anything I commit to. Through Atlantic Cape’s partnership programs, I went on to earn my BS from Rutgers University and my MS from Fairleigh Dickinson University. I am now a doctoral student at Nova Southeastern University and on track to graduate in May 2026.
Did you take classes and/or earn a degree from Atlantic Cape?
I graduated from Atlantic Cape in 2007 with an AAS in Hospitality Management.
