What are your plans after graduating?
I was accepted to Stockton University where I will study Health Science when I transfer this fall 2025.
Why did you choose Atlantic Cape?
I started at Atlantic Cape in 2010 and it was important to me to finish what I started to show my two children to never give up.
What activities, clubs or sports were you involved in at Atlantic Cape?
I participated in the Black Student Alliance.
Did attend classes in-person or online at Atlantic Cape?
I took classes both in-person on campus and online.
Describe the biggest challenge(s) you faced and how you overcame it/them
I lost my job, family members passed, I became a single mom of two kids, but I used my One-Stop tuition waiver and never gave up. I turned my pain into motivation to push forward and make my family proud. I brought my daughter to every event instead of making excuses.
What does graduating from Atlantic Cape mean to you?
It is the beginning to my future and I am beyond proud of this accomplishment.

Atlantic Cape is more than just a community college, it is the stepping stone for your future. It’s affordable and has so many resources like the Food Pantry, laptops to help students without one, resume help and so many fun events to attend for free.
