MAYS LANDING — Atlantic Cape Community College’s highly-acclaimed student-run gourmet restaurant, Carême’s, is now open for lunch on the Mays Landing campus, Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. through November 4.

Guests may enjoy a delicious sit-down buffet lunch carefully prepared by students of the College’s Academy of Culinary Arts (ACA) under the expert guidance of experienced chef instructors for $13.95 per person. Proceeds and gratuities from the lunch menu support a student scholarship fund while also helping to keep tuition affordable for ACA students.

“Through Carême’s, the ACA’s students gain invaluable real-world experience by serving the public in a live-restaurant environment under the direction of seasoned culinary and hospitality professionals,” said Joseph Sheridan, director, Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management. “This hands-on training sharpens the student’s technical skills and prepares them for success after graduation, and equipping them with the confidence and expertise needed to excel in their careers.”

Carême’s, named after the famous early-19th-century “chef of kings and king of chefs,” Marie-Antoine Carême, is located at 5100 Black Horse Pike (M Building adjacent to Parking Lot 3) in Mays Landing, N.J. For reservations, please contact Carême’s at (609) 343-4940 or email caremes@atlanticcape.edu.
