Board of Trustees appoints Maria Mento as chairperson at November meeting

The Atlantic Cape Community College Board of Trustees conducted its monthly meeting and annual reorganization on Tuesday, Nov. 30 at the Worthington Atlantic City Campus. Atlantic Cape alumna Maria Mento of Ventnor was approved as chairperson, Ellen Nicholson Byrne, Esq., of Sea Isle City was approved as vice-chairperson, and Atlantic Cape alumnus Daniel L. Money of Rio Grande was approved as treasurer.
The Board also approved its regular meeting schedule for 2021-2022, set official banking depositories, appointed general counsel William S. Donio of Cooper Levinson effective Jan. 1, 2022, and appointed Board Secretary Jean McAlister.

Grant Activity
- Submission of an application to the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) Strategic Finance for Student Success Grant and, if awarded, acceptance of a grant not to exceed $35,000 over three years.
- Acceptance of a grant of up to $5,000 from the New Jersey Council for the Humanities for its Smithsonian Traveling Exhibit Voices and Votes project.
