Policy No. 843

Description: Probationary Period

All new or rehired staff and security, maintenance and grounds personnel are in a probationary status during the first 90 calendar days of employment. This period is used to provide the employees with proper instruction and guidance regarding the duties of the position and for the supervisor to observe and evaluate the employee's performance and for new employees to make their own judgments as well.
