Atlantic Cape will resume operations on Wednesday, 2/25

All three campuses of Atlantic Cape will be open on Wednesday, February 25.

The scheduled Atlantic Cape Community College Board of Trustees meeting is moved to Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 6 PM on room 113 at the Cape May County campus.

Bereavement Pay

In the event of a death in the immediate family of an employee, the employee should immediately contact Human Resources. Full-time employees will be entitled to a maximum of four (4) scheduled work days off, with pay, to attend to personal matters associated with the bereavement. Additional days, if needed, may be charged to personal leave.

“Immediate family” for the purposes of this procedure, is defined as spouse, registered domestic partner and/or civil union partner, child (including legally-adopted child or foster child), step-child, parent, foster parent, step-parent, grandparent, grandchild, step-grandchild, parent of spouse, sibling, sibling of spouse or registered domestic partner and/or civil union partner, grandparent of spouse or registered domestic partner and/or civil union partner, or any relative living in the same household. Atlantic Cape Community College reserves the right to require employees to provide documentation of the death and/or degree of relation to the deceased.

Employees may request Bereavement leave through the employee Self Service portal.

All employees represented under a Collective Bargaining Agreement are referred to the applicable CBA.
